My job hosted a dinner for us here and I had an amazing time! It was my first time in Plano, and visiting Mesero. The staff were phenomenal, the drinks were amazing, and the food left me absolutely stuffed. We had a variety of apps (queso, shrimp ceviche, bacon wrapped jalapeño I think, guacamole and chips, and I think there was another one!). They passed nachos prior to us sitting down for dinner. Our group had the entire room facing the fountain. For dessert, I fell in love with the churros. Inside of it was a warm caramel.
They came to me with a sombrero and sang happy birthday to me haha. Tacos are great but the drinks are even better! Love the chips and 3 salsa combo they bring to the table. Amazing server who had us laughing all night. Thanks again for making my night memorable!
Nice and comfortable atmosphere. Dime lighting and fun Latin music playing throughout my experience. Fast service and friendly staff. The food is delicious, we had the chicken and shrimp fajitas, mango margarita and cinco leches cake for dessert. Our second visit in two weeks. Don't hesitate to visit.
We had a lovely Friday night dinner at Mesero. The whole place was popping, so we were glad to get a table, though it was late dinner service. The decor and the ambiance put us in the mood for a great night, though it was a tad dim where we were seated. The glass of water tasted a little funky, so I ordered a margarita. The marg was tasty, just the right strength to get a little buzzed. We had the ceviche to begin our dinner. It tasted nice and fresh with a healthy citrus squeeze. I loved that the chips for the table were served in individual cups and the salsas went well with everything. We kinda shared everything amongst the table. The shrimp enchilada was so creamy and delicious. The chicken fajita was ok. Chicken was a bit dry. The carne aside tacos were solid. The side rice was unnecessary. The staff were very attentive despite it being busy until we left. We had a lovely time at Mesero.
Service was fast, and great! Ambiance was that of a casual urban style, and all around positive. Opted for the Nachos Trejanos and they were superb! 4 nice sized arrangements with a fantastic piece of steak on each! For dessert the Cinco Leches was the perfect end to a great dinner! Highly recommend.
